Manmohan-Sonia inaugurate Ghat-Ki-Guni tunnel in Jaipur

Jaipur: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the ruling UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Saturday inaugurated Ghat-Ki-Guni tunnel on the outskirts of this capital city.
Dr Singh and Ms Gandhi opened for traffic the newly-carved out tunnel pass at a brief ceremony this  afternoon.
They also inaugurated by remote Gujjar-Ki Thadi-under-pass and Ramniwas Bagh multi-tier parking project at the function.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and several dignitaries were  present.
The tunnel project — first of its kind in the state — would ease traffic movement on the busy Jaipur-Agra Highway.
