NEW DELHI: The LPG consumer across the country got yet another jolt on Saturday when the government hiked cooking gas (LPG) price by Rs 11.42 per cylinder following its decision to raise commission being paid to LPG dealers.
The petroleum ministry had issued orders on Friday hiking commission paid to LPG dealers from Rs 25.83 per cylinder to Rs 37.25.
Meanwhile, petrol pump dealers are demanding a raise of 67 paise for petrol and 42 paise for diesel in view of their increased overhead costs owing to frequent price changes and rise in electricity charges.
