Amid tension along the border, the Indo-Pak Brigadier level flag meeting is scheduled to be held today at Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said.
“The Pakistan has accepted the invite for flag meeting, which has been scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch District,” the spokesman said on Sunday. The flag meeting would be of Brigadier level and issues of continuous ceasefire violations and infiltration bid would be discussed elaborately in the meeting.
Pakistan in the past 48 hours, had violated the truce six times in a row while on 8th January, two Indian soldiers were also killed when Pakistani Army fired “unprovoked” and attacked the Line of Control in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch.
STATE TIMES reports: Heavy firing by 653 Baluch Regiment of Pakistan on Indian posts of Chajja-1, Kranti 1, Kirpan 1 and Bahadur continued till the filing of report. Indian troops appropriately retaliated.
